How to Use MarineTak™

Picture

1. Prepare Surface

Clean and rough up the surface if needed. Surfaces don’t need to be dry, but they should be free of loose material.

2. Apply Adhesive

Use a caulk gun or squeeze directly from the tube. Apply deliberately at the point of use.

3. Let It Set

MarineTak™ reacts with moisture, so curing begins immediately. It will form a skin as it sets.

4. Clean Up

Uncured adhesive can be cleaned up with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically (sanding or chipping).
