Stronger Than the Reef Itself

Developed with inspiration from the natural chemistry of mussel adhesive, SeaTak® is built for one mission: to make global coral restoration possible at scale.

Funded by NOAA and trusted by researchers and hobbyists alike, it’s the adhesive of choice for reefs, aquariums, and underwater projects where performance matters most.
  • Reef restoration ready: Designed to secure coral fragments and structures with long-lasting strength.
  • Safe & sustainable: Fume-free and non-toxic once cured, protecting water quality and marine life.
  • Effortless to use: No mixing, no ballooning, no skinning — just apply and let water do the work.
  • Built for the toughest jobs: Tackier, longer-lasting, and more flexible than cyanoacrylate or epoxy.
  • Dual purpose: Equally effective for reef projects and aquarium aquascaping.

With its water-initiated cure and strong initial tack, SeaTak® delivers results in conditions where other adhesives fail.

How to Use SeaTak®

Picture

1. Prepare Surface

Clean and rough up the surface if necessary. The surface does not need to be dry, but it should be free of loose debris.

2. Apply Adhesive

Use a caulk gun or squeeze directly from the tube. Apply deliberately — you may need more than you think. A bead of about ¼"–½" works well for most jobs.

3. Let It Set

PoolTak reacts with moisture, so curing begins immediately. It will form a skin as it starts to set. Allow 2–3 hours for initial set and 24 hours for full cure.

4. Clean Up

Uncured adhesive can be wiped away with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Once cured, it must be removed mechanically (sanding or chipping).
