SeaTak® For Pools Applications

How to Use SeaTak® For Pools

Picture

1. Prepare Surface

Clean and rough up the surface if necessary. The surface does not need to be dry, but it should be free of loose debris.

2. Apply Adhesive

Use a caulk gun or squeeze directly from the tube. Apply deliberately — you may need more than you think. A bead of about ¼"–½" works well for most jobs.

3. Let It Set

SeaTak® For Pools reacts with moisture, so curing begins immediately. It will form a skin as it starts to set. Allow 2–3 hours for initial set and 24 hours for full cure.

4. Clean Up

Uncured adhesive can be wiped away with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Once cured, it must be removed mechanically (sanding or chipping).
